No Pay Poker has a free tournament called the "$25,000 NY Cheer Qualifier" running until 5th January next year.  

The qualifiers to the event are 10 player Sit-N-Gos. The winner of each gets entry to the $25,000 New Year Cheer 2008 Final on 5th January 2008. The prize pool is $25,000 FreeD (No Pay Poker currency), which is split as per the tournament payout schedule.

Freeroll News 9th December 2007: 

Intertops have a novel approach to their freerolls. To play, you need to have made a real money deposit and play one raked hand in the 24 hours before the freeroll takes place. Not too much to ask I don't think, you can play a raked hand for a few cents.

But here's where it gets interesting. If you play more than one raked hand you could be on your way to a lot more starting chips in the freeroll! Here's the schedule of raked hands and what you get for them:

Play 10 raked hands and get an extra $750 in starting chips
Play 25 raked hands and get an extra $1500 in starting chips
Play 50 raked hands and get an extra $2250 in starting chips
Play 100 raked hands and get an extra $3000 in starting chips

As you can imagine, an extra $3000 in starting chips puts you at a SERIOUS advantage in the freeroll game. While your opponents are sitting with a starting stack of $1000, you have a massive 4 times their chips. This will allow you to dominate the table from the off and will massively increase your chances of winning.

OK not quite a freeroll but if you do decide to take part, you can also use your deposit in an even better way! Intertops are also running a great weekly $175,000 tournament. You can get your share of the $175,000 prize pool for only one penny, every Saturday at 3:30 pm EST. 

To enter all you need is a minimum investment of just one Intertops Dollar (one penny) and if you miss out you can keep on trying for a penny at a time. Four qualifiers will win guaranteed seats at the $175,000 Sunday tournament every week.

Battlefield Poker have a few nice daily freerolls - eight to be exact -  up to $500 in value.

US players are allowed to play on the site apart from the usual 11 states of Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, South Dakota, Washington and Wisconsin. Betfred has a new depositor freeroll with a prize pool of $250. I know these type of freerolls are somewhat frowned upon by the freeroll purists due to the fact that they have an entry requirement, if you are one of those I suggest you look away now!

OK if you're still interested, the latest Betfred new depositor freeroll takes place today at 19:30 UK time (as it's a UK site). I think that's 14:30 EST but just check to make sure. Now the good part of this is that when I looked there was hardly ANY interest in the freeroll at all, only two players had registered and there was only one day to go. I expect that there might be a bit of a flurry of registrations nearer the time of the game but this sounds like a good opportunity to me.

As well as the new depositor's freeroll, Betfred also has Beginners $100 freeroll for those who have signed up in the last 90 days. You can play up to 4 of these in any seven day period. These also seem to be very sparsely attended and that could be another good chance for you to increase your bankroll.
