The 900,000 Euro Poker Stars European Poker Tour (EPT) 2006 tournament was held in Monaco, France. Playing in front of his proud parents, Jeff Williams remained icily cool throughout despite being an internet qualifier. Jeff was up against experienced poker professiomals of the calibre of Thierry Cazals, Ross Boatman and Manchester's Arshad Hussain at the final table. Down to the final heads-up and it was Jeff Williams against Hussain, Jeff winning the final hand with an Ace 10 against Hussain's Ace 8. So the youngster scooped big pot despite not expecting to progress beyond the first day.
